The executive team


In her role at AscellaHealth and CHAPPER healthcare, Gillian – delivers innovative and consultative market access support to pharmaceutical manufacturers and healthcare organisations. Leading the company’s EU and UK growth strategy, she collaborates closely with executive leadership to drive international healthcare innovation by evolving the company’s value proposition to meet the needs of the dynamic international healthcare market.
Gillian holds a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy and a Master of Science in Hospital Pharmacy from the University of Dublin’s Trinity College, an MBA from University College Dublin’s Michael Smurfit Graduate Business School, and a Diploma in Health Economics from the National University of Ireland’s Whitaker School of Government and Management.


With AscellaHealth and CHAPPER healthcare, Alexis leads international initiatives to enhance access to life-saving therapies, strengthen distribution networks, and support pharmaceutical partners with patient-centric solutions. Her background includes tenures at large global organisations like Pfizer and AstraZeneca, as well as leadership roles spanning wholesale, distribution, and pharmaceutical services. Alexis also served as Commercial Lead for AAH Pharmaceuticals within the NHS England COVID-19 vaccination program, successfully delivering over 70 million vaccinations across the UK.
Alexis is recognized for her strategic vision and ability to drive complex, multifaceted healthcare programs, bringing enhanced clarity and insight to diverse pharmaceutical environments.


Emma is responsible for overseeing operational processes between AscellaHealth and CHAPPER healthcare, establishing a strong foundation for scalable growth. Her role focuses on strengthening internal systems, streamlining processes, and supporting operations aligned with an integrated global distribution model.


Robert is responsible for ensuring fiscal discipline and transparency across the business. His experience with companies of different sizes and lifecycle stages enables him to balance rigorous financial controls with practical, real-world insight.


Spending over 13 years in specialty pharmaceuticals, Gareth provides expertise in sourcing and supplying medicinal products for clinical trials, bioequivalence testing, and unregistered supply and managed access programs. His experience spans complex international supply chains, where compliance, reliability, and continuity of supply are critical.
Gareth’s operational proficiency and regulatory insight help ensure timely access to therapies while maintaining the highest standards of quality and care.


At CHAPPER healthcare, John leads the expansion of global market presence through the development of strategic distribution and partnership networks. He works diligently to strengthen established relationships and identify new alliances to support sustainable market entry and growth. His experience includes building and scaling international networks across Asia, the Middle East, Europe, and Africa, while ensuring alignment with regulatory, commercial, and operational requirements.
John brings a global perspective and a collaborative approach to enhancing client success and improving the patient experience through efficient, scalable solutions for healthcare.


Matt previously held leadership roles at AAH Pharmaceuticals and Lloyds Pharmacy Clinical Homecare, where he led bid development, implementation, and sales support teams. His experience provides a strong understanding of the end-to-end contracting lifecycle across wholesale, pharmacy, and homecare settings.
In addition to his professional role, Matt serves on the volunteer Board of the Association of Proposal Management Professionals (APMP) in the UK. He will act as Deputy CEO in 2026, contributing to the advancement of best practices and professional standards within the bidding profession.
